Our story
From an after-hours hustle to Potchefstroom's most trusted cleaning company.
Mario Labuschagne is the founder of Pro Cleaning Potch (Pty) Ltd. In 2019, he started the business while still holding down a full-time day job — cleaning offices, retail spaces and homes around Potchefstroom after hours, often working through the night into the early morning to deliver every contract on time and to a standard he could stand behind personally.
As demand grew, he brought on the first permanent staff members, invested in industry-grade equipment and SANS-compliant chemicals, and built the systems that allowed the company to scale without ever cutting corners. His brother, Christo Labuschagne, later joined the team full-time as Operations Manager — turning a one-man after-hours operation into a true family-run business.
Today Pro Cleaning Potch employs roughly 20 staff members and has proudly served Potchefstroom and surrounding North West towns since 2019 — delivering commercial, residential, carpet, upholstery, window, complex and industrial cleaning with the same care as that very first after-hours job.

Christo Labuschagne joined Pro Cleaning Potch as our full-time Operations Manager and has been instrumental in growing the business ever since. Under his hands-on leadership, we've expanded our client base, refined our service offering and built an operations engine that delivers consistent, audit-ready quality on every site.
Christo is actively involved in the daily running of the business — from preparing accurate quotations and scheduling multi-site contracts, to training new crew members, conducting on-site quality audits and managing our 20-strong team. His operational discipline is the reason clients across the North West trust us to show up, every time, ready to deliver.

2019
The beginning
Mario Labuschagne founds Pro Cleaning Potch, working a full-time day job and cleaning Potchefstroom businesses after hours — often through the night into the early morning.
2020
First permanent staff
Demand outgrows one man and a van. The first permanent cleaners join the team and we invest in industry-grade equipment and certified chemicals.
2022
Christo joins full-time
Mario's brother, Christo Labuschagne, comes on board as full-time Operations Manager — Pro Cleaning Potch officially becomes a family-run operation.
2023
Expansion across the North West
We expand beyond Potchefstroom into Klerksdorp, Carletonville and surrounding towns, adding carpet, upholstery, window and industrial cleaning to our offering.
